Yellow Chablis

LRG_DSC00100Ok! Summer is soon arriving. I need a summer – drink.

  • 4 cl Botanist gin
  • 4 cl orange juice
  • 4 cl Chablis

Shake it with ice. Enjoy 😀

Becketts Kopf

I visited this fantastic bar in Berlin. They only use small and quite unknown producers of spiritus. I started with an Aviation. They rimmed the glass with violet candy and because of that, they made the coctail a little bit sour to balance everything. Excellent!

I leave you with a picture of a Jupiter coctail. One word: wow!

Blood orange soda

I needed something fresh today. Orange from Sicilia was in front of me. Here we go:

  • 4 cl gin
  • 6 cl orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons of Yacon syrup
  • Soda

Fill up an old fashioned glass with ice. Add everything except the soda. Stir for 15 seconds and then throw in some soda. Garnish with av orange peel. Enjoy the february freshness (even though its oh so cold outside).

Espresso martini

Last night we had a fantastic meal at our former neighbours new house. After the meal, Thomas made this delicious espresso martini.

He had ice, 2,5 cl Kahlua, 3 cl vodka, 2,5 cl espresso and a small amount of simple sugar syrup in a coctail shaker. After some powerful shaking he strained it into a chilled coctail glass. Oh my god it was good!!!! We will be back!!!

Kiwi shark

Its saturday! No plans, but hey!! Time for a new coctail. Kiwi and orange mixed together. Then some booze. Mmmm…

  • 1 cl cointreau
  • 2 cl Tanquerey gin
  • 2 cl Silver Patron tequila
  • 1 small sicilian blood orange
  • 1 kiwi

In a coctail shaker, muddle the kiwi and orange. Add the booze. Fill the shaker with ice, shake well and Strain into a martini glass. Shape the kiwi peel and put the kiwi sharks in the glass. You will love it!

Rumble without jungle

I guess you have never tasted something like this. It needs some preparation.

  • 12 cl unsweetened almond milk
  • 12 cl cloudy apple juice
  • 1 teabag (apple)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 cloves
  • 3 teaspoons of orange honey  (or regular honey)

Heat everything for 7 minutes. When it is getting cold you can put it in the refridgerator for 30 minutes. Strain it.

In a coctail shaker, combine all ingredients with 4 cl dark rum and the juice of 1/2 lime. Shake like crazy for 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Pinch a lime twist over the drink and add to the glass.

Now you have made yourself a decadent drink which looks like a chocolade drink, but tastes like an apple marinated in almond heaven.
